Google Review Request Templates
Google reviews are one of the most powerful ranking factors for local businesses. Businesses with more high-quality reviews appear higher in local search results, get more clicks, and convert more visitors into customers. Yet most businesses never ask for reviews — or ask in a way that makes it easy to ignore.
These templates remove the awkwardness from asking for reviews. They're timed to send right after a positive experience, they make the process as easy as possible (one click), and they don't pressure the customer. The key is asking at the right moment and making it effortless.
Use these via text (higher response rates) or email, depending on your customer communication preferences.

Best Practices
- Always include your direct Google review link — make it one click to leave a review
- Ask after a clearly positive interaction, never after a complaint or issue
- Text messages get significantly higher response rates than email for review requests
- Send the request within 24 hours while the experience is fresh
- Never offer incentives for reviews — this violates Google's policies
- Respond to every review you receive (positive and negative) to show you care
